I saw the CTV press about the awful cafeteria food/vending machine sugar laden junk in Calgary schools and just had to say THANK YOU!(and I didn't know anywhere but here to reach you) I hope the story gains momentum and there is real change. My daughter attends Langevin and they stopped Cafeteria service last year but still have vending machines loaded with junk food. I've been receiving more and more requests for change because she wants to be able to buy a snack like the other kids. There is a milk vending machine but I'm pretty sure those bottles are too big for a 6 yr old...and who is going to pick milk when there's five alive?
What can we do to convince the CBE it's time for a serious overhaul?
